HR Business Partner
Company: Mercer Description: We are seeking an HR Business Partner, based in our Melbourne office, to join our Pacific People and Culture team. As the HR partner and advisor on all human capital matters to your client groups located across Australia, you will be responsible for the implementation of solutions and strategies that support the Companyâ€™s people and business plans. Key areas of responsibility in this role include: The delivery of human capital strategies, across multiple HR disciplines, for your client groups Lead human capital change initiatives, ensuring the best outcomes for both the organisation and colleagues Advise your client groups on all HR strategic matters including talent acquisition and retention, promotion, reward and recognition Support the business on all talent management programmes including executive and leadership development, performance management, succession planning, coaching, training, career development and diversity and inclusion initiatives Advise clients about the importance of colleague engagement and drive actions to improve this in collaboration with the business Manage employee relations issues to a successful conclusion with minimal operational, reputational or financial risk Provide advice and support to client groups, ensuring the correct application and compliance to all HR related legislative requirements To be successful in this role you will have: Ideally, 5 years of successful HR generalist or employee relations experience Prior experience, within Financial Services, Superannuation or a Professional Services organisation is essential Extensive HR experience including time as a BP to senior or mid-level clients; Experience across the range of HR disciplines with a strong working knowledge of relevant legislation; Evidence of delivery of practical HR solutions to critical business issues; Strong consulting, project management, coaching and leadership skills Influencing and client management skills; Intellectual rigor and strong analytical skills; Personal credibility; Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills About Mercer At Mercer, we make a difference in the lives of more than 110 million people every day by advancing their health, wealth, and careers.
