This is an HSE Advisor role that will sustainably implement critical HSE projects across a number of manufacturing sites.
What will this role involve? Providing technical coaching and specialist advice to help in the achievement of HSE objectives Managing and delivering an effective HSE service for the Business Unit, that is aligned to Orora Group HSE policies and that guides and supports the Business Unit in achieving its goals Supporting the implementation of the Beverage Cans HSE strategy Collaborating in a manner that identifies and values the manufacturing site leaders and their teams as the key internal customer of the HSE function The project based scope of this role extends to six manufacturing sites; Dandenong (VIC), Revesby (NSW) and Rocklea (QLD), Canning Vale (WA) & Wiri (New Zealand). What will we expect you to do? Facilitate and execute key aspects of the HSE strategy for Beverage Cans in line with required timeframes Monitor the implementation of HSE plans and adhere to agreed time frames Develop and provide project management to execute key initiatives, while developing standardised templates, guidance notes, training packs and procedures Drive compliance to legal and company HS&E standards, while highlighting deficiencies and supporting improvement opportunities Participate in OHS committee meetings at sites Consult with internal customers across the sites to provide HSE advice and support Coach and mentor internal customers in HSE topics, and participate directly in managing key HSE issues across the sites Support the investigation of HSE incidents in a timely manner, while coaching stakeholders to promote a high standard of investigation quality Conduct hygiene reviews of the SHE Assure system and follow up on lagging investigations and actions Develop and deliver specific training modules in line with legal and business specific requirements Monitor and report on HSE key performance indicators About You What will you need to be successful in this role? Diploma/Degree in HSE or equivalent At least 3 years in an advisory role â€“ preference for manufacturing experience Auditing qualifications Project Management experience Sound knowledge of Legislative and other requirements i.e.
