Accounts / Administration Business Assistant
Accounts Business Assistant Sabre Group is looking for an admin professional with book keeping experience and an interest in learning and improving business systems. Sabre Medical is a manufacturing and testing business operating with a team of 20 people and growing. We work with companies bringing new technologies to market mainly in the medical device or pharma areas.
Due to recent changes and the implementation of an ERP system for accounts, inventory and business operations we would like to employ an enthusiastic person to work as our Business Assistant and handle sections of our business admin functions from Invoice entry, Payments, account adjustments, Bank Reconciliations, Business document management, Reporting using standard formats. We are Sabre Group and we operate a successful and growing business, based in Lane Cove West. With a number of divisions in our company, we have embraced a new enterprise wide accounting and business system called Accentis, and are now seeking the core bookkeeping and business admin skills of an individual who can grow with us to maintain and administer the process.
Sabre has an established business with over 13 years of manufacturing. Our customers range from large corporations to small start-up companies it all makes the work very interesting as we have so much exposure to the whole business of all our customers. The successful candidate will be provided with training in this Australian-made and supported software and, thereafter, continue to liaise with the people at Accentis, equipping themselves with the knowledge and tools to not only help set-up our new system but also train our small professional team, while contributing to our day to day accounts and admin.
To be considered for this role, you need to demonstrate the following: • An understanding in all-round bookkeeping • Hands-on skills with small business software for example MYOB or Quickbooks • Demonstrated problem solving skills and an analytical mind • Excellent communication (spoken and written) • A friendly and professional manner; willing to help others learn and understand new concepts and processes Qualifications in Business administration, accounting or book keeping, while not essential, have some benefits. This position is being offered on a permanent basis – preferably full time or even 3-4 days per week for the right candidate. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
