A Traffic and Transport Engineer job in north-west Melbourne paying circa $50.00 per hour. Your new company A local council in the north-west has a temporary opportunity for an experienced Traffic and Transport Engineer.

The role could extend or become permanent for the successful applicant. Your new role As well as investigating and responding to traffic and transport engineering requests, you'll: Utilise your expertise to provide solutions to traffic and transport related issues Assist in the delivery of projects such as parking, transport, cycling and walking Prepare project briefs and project manage contractors and consultants as required Plan and manage communication with key internal and external stakeholders Provide reports on matters relating to planning, road safety and parking issues What you'll need to succeed As well as experience in transport engineering and project management, you'll have: A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Transport Planning or related discipline The proven ability to successfully undertake extensive community consultation The ability to formulate traffic engineering, transport, transport planning, road safety and parking solutions What you'll get in return In return for your dedication and hard work, you'll be rewarded with: Excellent working conditions including the ability to work flexibly An hourly rate commensurate to your skills and experience A potential temporary to permanent opportunity if desired What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' or forward an up-to-date copy of your CV to simone.watthays.
