Aboriginal Procurement Manager

As Aboriginal Procurement Manager you will provide a whole of government strategic procurement service based on a category management approach, focused on end to end project delivery and client relationships.
Reporting in to Director, Property Services and Senior Manager, Procurement you will develop appropriate procurement strategies to deliver client and government outcomes as well as delivering an end to end tendering and contract engagement function to accreditation standards. We are looking for someone with a high level of autonomy in decision making and fully accountable for the delivery of work assignments on time. You will have strong influencing skills coupled with Service delivery.
You will also have demonstrated experience in procurement systems and processes in the delivery of engagements that are value for money, probity rich, and transparent. On specialised technical/professional matters the Aboriginal Procurement Manager is required to submits reports, business cases and other forms of written advice with minimal input from the Senior Manager. Essential requirements Tertiary qualifications or significant industry experience and networks in the procurement or related area .
Must have worked on end to end procurement projects M ust have highly developed stakeholder engagement and time management skills. Solid experience in evaluation and negotiations with suppliers Government procurement experience would be highly regarded Must be proficient with MS office suite? MS Word; Excel are mandatory Various IT platforms/systems such as TRIM, SAP; Objective Connect , Office 365 would be well regarded.
