Company Profile A well-established, growing Architectural practice with a Heritage Consultant team with decades of experience operating from 2 studios in Sydney and interstate. The Heritage team woks independently on their own projects for external clients and provides consultancy services to their Architecture team. What do they design? Architecture Interior Design Landscape Architecture Your work day may include: Reporting to the Studio Principal of Heritage, you will be given the opportunity to be constantly challenged across a wide variety of tasks: Preparation of Heritage Impact Assessments, Heritage Significance Assessments, Impact Statements, Heritage Management Plans, Conservation Management Strategies, Interpretation Plans, Heritage Inventories and Expert Advice Advise on development feasibility studies in respect of heritage issues Collaboration with other in-house Heritage Consultants, Historians and Heritage Architects and Architects Budgeting, Fee Proposals, and project programmes Engagement with the peak Heritage bodies of NSW and Australia Skills & Experience you will need: Bachelor and Masters in Architecture or Planning Post-graduate qualifications in Heritage Architecture Ability to register as a Heritage Advisor and Heritage Consultant with NSW Office of Heritage and Environment Membership of ICOMOS is desirable A minimum recent, continuous experience of 3 years in AUSTRALIA with Architectural practices and/or Heritage Consultant companies Excellent working knowledge of Authority Controls, Statutory frameworks, heritage and conservation principles Advanced presentation skills Ability to “read” a building and landscape Ability to work with little supervision Remuneration The salary package offered is commensurate with your skills & experience.
