This ASX listed commercial property group are currently recruiting for a Property Accountant due to an internal promotion within the team. The organisation work across all major asset classes and you will be given a lot of autonomy in managing and accounting for your portfolio. The Role The role will start as a 6-months fixed-term contract with genuine opportunity to go permanent.
You will be mentored by a manager who is supportive, will give you the time for training and will take a personal interest in your career development. This role could be seen as a platform for other roles in the organisation if you show the willingness to learn and you show you can build strong relationships with both financial and property/asset teams. The role day to day includes; •Preparation of budgets and forecasts alongside commercial managers •Involvement in the on-boarding and off-boarding of assets •Review and analysis of operating and capital expenditure •Month end workbooks including accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations •Ensure all property management, leasing and capital works fees have been raised and paid •Business partnering with asset and property management teams Ideally you will be coming from a strong management accounting background and in a perfect world have experience within the property sector.
