We are looking for applications from experienced professionals who are excited by the opportunity to work for a central policy agency, Department of Home Affairs, where you have the ability to influence domestic and international policy.

Our roles span national security, counter terrorism, countering violent extremism, social cohesion and lots more. We are seeking to fill immediate vacancies across a range of policy functions in Canberra (ACT) as well as further expected vacancies in the next six to 12 months. Your agenda will cover everything in Policy from national security, counterterrorism, cyber security, countering violent extremism, law enforcement, and transnational, serious and organised crime to immigration, citizenship and social cohesion, travellers, customs, trade, international cooperation and engagement, strategic and capability planning, transport security, emergency management and disaster mitigation, and critical infrastructure.
