Company Overview The $8.3 billion Sydney Metro Northwest is Australia's largest public transport infrastructure project currently under construction and a priority rail project for the NSW Government. It will be the first fully-automated rapid transit rail system in Australia.
As part of the Infrastructure Joint Venture, the two partners CPB Contractors and John Holland Group have collaborated to deliver world-class rapid transit services, which will provide customers with a safe, high quality, reliable, efficient and affordable public transport solution and meet the specified performance requirements on a whole-of-life basis. We are seeking another member to join our dynamic Commercial team and to be a part of this iconic project in delivering state of the art design and innovative technology for Sydney's future. About the Role Reporting to the Senior Contracts Administrator, your role will include but not limited to the following; Assist with project cost control, revenue management, forecasting and general project financial administration requirements Assist the wider project team with cost control measures, including daily costing, costs to date and forecasting protocols in accordance with the cost control requirements/standards for the Project Review daily dockets and timesheets in accordance with the respective subcontracts and industrial agreements Prepare and administer the day to day cost management of subcontractors and suppliers including valuations, claims and variation control and monthly payments in accordance with the Security of Payment Act and requirements of the respective subcontracts Preparation of cost to dates and accruals as per the monthly reporting requirements Assist with the preparation of respective area progress claim requirement as required for the overall submission to the Independent Certifier Assist with Area procurement requirements, progress claims, claims and variations The ideal applicant will have; Tertiary (Bachelor) degree in Engineering, Commerce, Accounting, Business, Law or associated disciplines 4 years’ contracts/procurement experience Experience within the rail, transport, construction, mining & resources or engineering industries (project experience) preferable What's on Offer?
