St Vincent’s is proud of its International reputation for delivery of Mental Health Services and the use of the ‘Strengths Model’ and its principles and includes a 44 bed adult acute inpatient , Continuing Care Teams; a Crisis Assessment Team, EDMH, Triage and PACER teams a PARC and Community Care Unit as well as state-wide services and support services. About the Role Reporting to the Director of Nursing, the Manager, Crisis, Assessment and Treatment Service (CATS) will provide leadership and operational management of the Crisis Team, EDMH, Triage and PACER teams. The positon will have financial, human resource management and quality oversight for their portfolio and this role is a critical in ensuring that our community and emergency based clinical services are responsive, evidence based and consumer focused.

Duties Manage the daily operations of the Crisis Assessment Team, Emergency Department Mental Health Team, Psychiatric Triage and PACER (CATS) through the effective co-ordination of resources in order to achieve optimal service delivery within a recovery framework Develop and maintain linkages to ensure optimal continuity of care between community mental health services, bed based services and other parts of the service Ensure the mental health clinicians reporting to this role operate in accordance with high clinical standards within a recovery framework and other relevant standards such as professional, service and quality standards Provi.
