Description

Provide strategic & operational advice & services to Crown Law staff including executives & managers across the full range of organisational development activities by utilising highly developed human resources, organisational development, employee relations & internal consulting knowledge & experience. Areas of focus include organisational culture, capability development, employee performance, organisational changes, human resource processes, recruitment & selection, establishment & projectsDeal with complex Human Resource & Industrial Relations matters. Including the liaison with the Public Service Commission, union officials & departmental officersDevelop, implement & review strategic & client service initiatives in keeping with the current business plan & organisation objectivesAssist with the development & integration of Crown Law's competency framework into all OD initiatives & mechanisms Manage & undertake organisational development projects ensuring that outcomes or recommendations are developed following business consultation, recognise commercial reality for Crown Law, reflect contemporary human recourses & organisational practices, & are appropriate for the organisational size Develop, deliver and/or contribute to the implementation and ongoing continuous improvement of one of more of the following:o Learning & development programso Performance management frameworks & mechanismso Attraction, selection & retention strategieso Occupational health & safety and/oro Induction programsApply change management & strong communication strategies to projects, initiatives & services delivered by the TeamContribute to OD objectives by analyzing & incorporating key issues & business objectives into projects & initiativesAnalyse & provide high level advice to senior managers on complex & significant workforce issues & develop appropriate solutions in consultation with clientsDevelop strong partnerships with Crown Law executives to ensure that organisational development related issues are identified & managed in a proactive way.

Coach leaders in contemporary people leadership including employee development, performance planning, talent management & change managementProactively identify opportunities to enhance Crown Law organisational culture including the management of the annual Employee Opinion Survey to ensure a high participation rate, communication of results & the development & implementation of action planning. Manage the implementation of contemporary tools & processes to support leaders & managers in the achievement of a high performing organisational cultureDevelop & implement succession planning, talent management & workforce planning processes including Crown Law's Graduate program to ensure ongoing workforce capabilityOversee the development & implementation of effective & efficient human resources practices & processes adopted by the TeamManage Crown Law's Attraction & Retention Incentive (ARI) scheme for Assistant Crown Solicitor's Supp.
