Senior Workforce Development Officer
• Manage workforce projects and activities that contribute to the achievement of Child Safety, Youth and Women workforce and business objectives, including workforce diversity and employee engagement. • Build professional client relationships so as to maximise client ownership of the workforce agenda and client confidence in the capability of the Diversity and Engagement team. • Provide authoritative advice to management and staff on a range of strategic workforce issues relating to diversity and engagement relevant to their business area.
• Prepare submissions, reports, executive briefs and correspondence on a range of strategic workforce issues. • Represent Child Safety, Youth and Women at relevant forums, meetings and conferences. • Develop and review workforce policies that support the achievement of the departments' workforce and business objectives.
• Conduct appropriate research and analysis of workforce data and issues to assist with strategic and workforce planning and policy objectives. • Assist with the coordination of appropriate governance arrangements for workforce development committees. Provide support to staff to optimise the performance of the team.
• Participate as part of a cohesive high performing team in which all members' contributions are valued and encouraged. • Effectively use human and financial resources to optimise the performance of the team and deliver agreed outcomes. Applications to remain current for 12 months.
