Your new career starts here NWRH now has a fantastic opportunity for two (2) Wellbeing Support Officers to join their Normanton team on a full-time basis. As a Wellbeing Officer, you will be responsible for providing support, information and advice to NWRH clients on emotional, financial, recreational, health, housing, parenting and other social welfare matters, while evaluating and coordinating the services of welfare and community service agencies.
Your day to day responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): Assessing clients' needs and planning, developing and implementing educational training and support programs; Interviewing clients to assess the nature and extent of difficulties, including referring clients to agencies that can provide additional help; Monitoring and reporting on the progress of clients and maintaining health records and statistics; Assessing community needs and resources for health, welfare, housing, employment, training and other facilities and services; Providing clinical functions, such as case management and follow-up, independently or in consultation with other health care providers; and Providing health education to individual clients and staff in health facilities.
