For further information: click here Apply Online Link Primary Objective: Provide effective leadership, management and coordination of remote Primary Health Care (PHC) services in a culturally safe and financially sound manner to achieve optimal health outcomes for individuals and the community in alignment with Organisational Vision, Mission and Values.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Deliver an advanced primary health care service using population health principles, engaging with stakeholders to meet identified regional and local community needs. 2.

Practice collaboratively and provide expert nursing leadership to a multidisciplinary health care team. 3. Responsible for the day to day management of the health centre including all human, financial and material resources in accordance with Departmental policies, procedures and performance frameworks.

4. Ensure all health information systems documentation and records are maintained in accordance with established Departmental policy. 5.

Support Aboriginal Community Worker (ACW) employment opportunities and promote Aboriginal Health Practitioners (AHPs) as providers of health care to facilitate the delivery of culturally appropriate health care. 6. Identify and encourage timely and cost effective education and professional development of all health centre staff incorporating strong performance management in conjunction with individual Work Partnership Plans (WPP).

7. Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces. 8.

Foster a positive workplace culture through exemplary leadership practices and role modelling behaviou.
