For further information: click here Apply Online Link Primary Objective: Develops, facilitates and supports clinical expertise in the Emergency Department to achieve high quality, evidence-based emergency care working as the Clinical Nurse Educator.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: ? Provides appropriate, proficient, coordinated education programs, sound clinical and educational advice and may provide direct clinical care for complex client presentations within the Emergency Department. ? Provides direct clinical support and instruction, mentoring graduate, newly appointed or less experienced employees across the Emergency Department. ? Plan, conduct and review effective educational programmes to address identified needs, using expert clinical knowledge specific to the speciality.
? Initiate, implement and evaluate policy and procedure through research, best practice and quality activities. ? Follow defined service quality standards, Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces. ? Foster a positive workplace culture through exemplary leadership practices and role modelling behaviour.
Selection Criteria: Essential: 1. Current registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia or eligible for same. 2.
Post graduate qualifications in Emergency or equivalent. 3. Demonstrated ability to plan, develop, coordinate, implement, evaluate, advise and contribute to practice area and/or service wide education and professional development across the continuum of learning.
