au/work-with-us About the opportunity We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Senior Case Worker (Social Worker or Psychologist) to join our Adoption and Permanent Care team. The position is permanent, full time, and based in Windsor (Melbourne). The Senior Case Worker will: manage a complex case load and support families and children with a high degree of expertise and capacity for self -direction Model leadership, mentorship and reflective practice to support the team leader, step up to higher duties, and aid in the development of team members The Adoption & Permanent Care program at Connections: Provides training and assessment of people seeking to care for a child under the permanent care, adoption or concurrent care programs Oversees the placement and support of children with carers Provides relinquishment counselling for birth parents in the infant adoption program Provides counselling to adopted people and their families in relation to past adoptions Provides pre- and post-legal support to children, their carers and birth families Uniting Connections offers employees: A comprehensive range of professional development opportunities Supportive and regular supervision Career options through a wide range of programs and locations across Uniting Salary packaging up to $15,900 per annum via Paywise salary packaging ( ).
