The key functions of the role will involve providing high quality assistance to individuals, families and primary carers to maintain independence and a quality of life whilst living in the community. You will provide clients with a range of care activities relating to personal hygiene, grooming and presentation, general household and environmental maintenance, activities of interest in the home and local community and the maintenance and improvement of general health and well-being.
About You The ideal candidate will be empathetic with a genuine understanding for clients and their families, demonstrate effective skills in written and verbal communication and a commitment to customer service excellence. You will also have: Willingness and ability to provide care and other support to individuals within their home environment Superior organisational skills, time management and an ability to work autonomously as part of a wider team Medication administration competency Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (desirable) Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable) Current C class WA driver's licence How to Apply To express your interest in this exciting opportunity, please submit an application including your current resume and a covering letter outlining your experience and availability.
