About SDN SDN Children's Services is a not-for profit organisation that has been providing quality early childhood education and care since 1905. We are proud of our long history in teacher education and the provision of children's services. We have child care centres throughout Sydney and regional NSW and run Brighter Futures Programs out of four locations as well as our Disability Services.
About Brighter Futures SDN Brighter Futures is a government funded voluntary program available to families who have children under 9 years old, or who are expecting a child. This program supports families going through challenges that are affecting their children, whether it be mental health issues, drug and alcohol misuse, family violence or even just the need to work on parenting skills. Sometimes a little extra help is all that's needed to prevent family problems from growing into stressful or dangerous situations.

SDN Brighter Futures in Sutherland is looking for a Case Worker with Child Protection experience. SDN offers competitive salary and half salary packaging benefit.
This is a full time contract position until June'2020. About You Knowledge of relevant legislation University qualifications in Social Work, Psychology or other relevant degree Demonstrated case management and assessment experience working with children and families with complex child protection issues Excellent relationship building, negotiation and influencing skills with experience working with a range of stakeholders including families, government and community groups Knowledge and understanding of a variety of different cultural and religious groups Experience and knowledge of theoretical approaches when working with children and families including child development theory Working with Children Check (WWCC) Clearance Number Current driver's license with comprehensively insured vehicle Our Culture SDN's values and philosophy are at the heart of everything we do.
