Golder has a new opportunity for a Graduate Civil Design Engineer to join our Design team on a full time basis based in St.
Leonards. Key duties and responsibilities include: Providing engineering input to the design of waste containment and site remediation solutions, from conceptual through detailed design stages; Carrying out design analyses, with regard to slope stability, seepage, water balance, linin and capping system, surface water and groundwater; Assisting with project planning and preparation of technical deliverables; Assisting with coordination of client-contactor requests; Preparing and delivering technical reports on time; Working with other professionals in project teams; Conduct general field and office assignments under supervision; Undertaking site and QA/QC activities; Identify safety hazards and report OH&S incidents Skills, Qualifications, and Experience A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related discipline; Basic skills in core technical areas; Contribute to project with a major focus on data collection and process; Basic analytical and problem-solving skills; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Strong time management ability; High attention to detail; Ability to work efficiently autonomously and in a team environment; and Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Your benefits at Golder will include: Competitive benefits and remuneration packages; Option to purchase shares in Golder; Employee owned structure - own the business, own the result; Deepen your expertise in a dynamic work environment; Innovative and collaborative multidisciplinary projects; On the job training, mentoring and coaching; Global projects and travel opportunities Renowned for technical excellence, Golder is a leading, global employee-owned engineering and consulting form with over a half century of successful service to its clients.
