Solicitor LA18201 PSGOGA 2017, Specified Calling Level 1 or 2, up to $103,179 gross per annum super benefits Solicitor Civil Law Division - Mortgage Hardship Service Fixed Term up to 24 months An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Civil Law Division to provide a mortgage hardship service. This role will focus on providing advice and assistance to people experiencing financial hardship, especially mortgage stress and bankruptcy. Outreach work will be a priority for this position - working with financial counsellors in the community to provide a holistic service to people in financial hardship.
Other duties will include negotiation with financial services providers, and assisting people to lodge disputes with external dispute resolution schemes. Previous experience in credit and debt, banking and finance, mortgage stress, and housing repossession will be highly regarded.
