Latrobe Regional Hospital (LRH) is the major provider of specialist health services in the Gippsland region, east of Melbourne. 8 EFT Associate Unit Manager position within Agnes Unit, the Parent and Infant Unit. Agnes Unit is a 5 bed sub acute, perinatal residential unit. The unit is open from Monday to Friday and offers therapeutic support to new parents and their infants up to 12 months of age.
The unit supports interventions that may be required for adjustment or emotional issues. This includes difficulties with bonding, sleeping, settling and/or feeding difficulties. Applicants should be division 1 registered nurses or registered nurses or registered midwives willing to undertake further postgraduate qualifications in mental health, or qualified Division 3 Registered Psychiatric Nurses.
The AUM role includes management, co-ordination, leadership and assistance in development of the unit, ensuring a high standard of parent and infant centred care. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience working with new parents and infants.
