Our clients modular transportable buildings range from classrooms, offices, childcare facilities, switchroom, general learning areas for schools and many other custom designed buildings.

Our client specializes in buildings that are perfect for permanent or temporary use and can be delivered and installed to any destination throughout Australia suiting any requirement. About the Role Our client is looking for a highly experienced Operations Manager to manage the day to day operational activities of their modular construction company. The role is responsible for providing leadership and support in the workshop and across multiple sites to ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget whilst satisfying customer requirements.

This role will work closely with the draftsman and the project management and procurement teams. Key responsibilities will include: Schedule the project in conjunction with your project manager to meet time frames Finalise plans and drawings so a final scope of works is completed with final costings Lead and mentor a team in the construction, delivery and completion of modular buildings Allocate, liaise and monitor the purchase of raw materials, subcontractors and employees to meeting deadlines Report to stakeholders on the progress of all jobs Manage and motivate staff in a safe working environment Ensure complete compliance to QA procedures Managing human resources tasks include determining needs, hiring employees, overseeing assignment of employees and planning staff development To be successful for this role you must have the following: Relevant qualification (Construction Management or similar) Minimum 5 years experience in similar role managing a business unit (preferably within the construction or an associated industry) Experience in financial management, forecasting, and budgeting of project works Knowledge of project management principles and practices Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with, negotiate and influence stakeholders A general comprehension of financial and business principles and best practices A strong commitment to safety, quality, environment and customer relationships Residential Builders Licence (highly regarded) This is an exceptional opportunity for an outcomes orientated, self motivated Operations Manager to join this rapidly expanding Modular de.
