Our Client Our client is a market leading Australian brand with a reputation for outstanding service and innovative products. Due to continued growth they are currently looking for a Unix Engineer to join their Infrastructure Security team. The Role Reporting to the Infrastructure Security Manager, the Unix Engineer is responsible for maintenance and support of the Solaris and AIX Linux related Infrastructure, ensuring capability and performance that is aligned to business expectation of service levels, compliance and risk.

You will also create and update security policies, conduct risk assessments and perform security assessments across the Unix environment. You will ensure that security vulnerabilities are identified and addressed in accordance with critically. Along with these skills, you need to have demonstrated experience in the following: 3 years' experience in a Unix environment (Solaris, AIX) Strong understanding of Unix security best practices Experience administering a minimum of 150 servers in a Unix environment Experience with WebSphere or WebLogic Application Servers Proven analytical and problem solving abilities Ability to work individually or as part of a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills A great opportunity to lead the Unix capability, identifying and implementing best practice processes and standards.
