What you'll be doing Provide specialist services and senior clinical leadership within the Social Work service.
Selection Criteria Bachelor degree or equivalent in social work which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers. Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skill, and significant clinical experience in the provision of Social Work. Extensive experience and demonstrated ability in building and maintaining professional and therapeutic relationships through the application of written, verbal, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Demonstrated ability to apply and share expert knowledge with colleagues and other health professionals to enhance service delivery. Demonstrated experience and ability to identify opportunities and innovatively lead the planning, implementation and evaluation of service delivery incorporating continuous improvement, evidence based practice, and research. Demonstrated extensive experience in the provision of clinical supervision, mentoring, and development of junior staff and students.
Demonstrated high level organisational, prioritisation and time management skills in an environment of competing clinical/administrative demands. Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including collaborative stakeholder consultation. Extra Requirements:- Participate in After Hours On Call Roster for the Social Work Department.
Participate in Service and Quality Improvement projects to improve service delivery and patient outcomes; participate in Quality Projects and research in collaboration with other Bleeding Disorder staff, both nationally and internationally. Collaborate & communicate with a range of specialist teams within RPAH to ensure effective service delivery and quality outcomes for people with bleeding disorders and their families and carers. Work collaboratively on related projects with the staff and committee of the Haemophilia Foundation NSW (HFNSW), which is the patient-centred NGO, and its national peak body, Haemophilia Foundation Australia (HFA).
Participate in national training annually, provided by the HFA, and collaborate as a member of the Australian New Zealand Haemophilia Social Workers Counsellor's Group (ANZHSWCG). Identify, develop, implement, and evaluate novel psychosocial programs and services for the inherited....
