A brief description of the ideal candidate The ideal candidate will have: · Master’s degree preferably from US College or university · Valid Certification · At least two years’ full time teaching or counseling experience in elementary or secondary school, and two years’ experience as a school psychologist in elementary or secondary school · Experience implementing RTI · Success developing a framework to support high achieving students · International experience preferred · Conversant in web 2.0 tools and MS Office Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: · Working knowledge of effective methods of dealing with children and adolescents · Knowledge of school organization and its community · Knowledge of expected behavioral patterns of students, characteristics of ages and stages · Demonstrates and shares best practices with colleagues · Keeps current with regards to best practices in Educational Psychology · Ability to maintain confidentiality of student, colleague, and parent information.
