Procurement Project Manager
Award Winning Procurement Team Annual Salary Package of up to $158,000.00 Well-Regarded Public Sector Organisation Procurement Project Manager position available working on some of Sydney's largest infrastructure projects. Your new company The RMS is part of a new integrated transport authority led by Transport for NSW.
The main aim for the RMS is to deliver safe and efficient journeys throughout NSW, managing the operations and programs of roads and waterways. NSW Government is currently investing billions into the delivery of new roads and maritime infrastructure, bringing effective and efficient traffic management and use of the road and maritime network. Due to the increase of projects, the RMS is now looking for a driven and determined Procurement Project Manager to join their expanding team.
Your new role In your new Procurement Project Manager position, you will lead and mentor a team ensuring the best value for money procurement of goods and materials (precast concrete, road construction materials etc), services (Professional Services, project management services etc) and works (Subcontractors etc) for the Regional Maintenance Branch and Regional and Freight Division. You will ensure procurement programs are scheduled, resourced and delivered on time based on priority, complexity and risk assessment. You will deal directly with internal clients that include Civil Engineers and Project Managers.
What you'll need to succeed In order to be considered for the position of Procurement Project Manager, you will have proven experience in the strategic procurement of civil engineering asset or infrastructure projects. You will be capable of proactively managing complex procurement, commercial and financial risk. You will need to have excellent and proven stakeholder management skills and a demonstrated understanding of Work Health and Safety, Environment and Quality Management Systems requirements and Indigenous participation programs.
MCIPS qualifications coupled with an Engineering degree will be desired.
