Finance Team Leader - Operations
About the Company This is one of Australia's largest leisure / property services groups. The group's core business is integrated resorts. It has a diverse range of properties across Australia and Europe.
About the Role This is a hands-on role, working with team members to provide critical financial data to assist with key operational decision making and reporting. Duties Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will manage a portfolio of businesses. In this role you will be responsible for the following: Management of the month-end reporting for a number of entities; Review of budgets and investigating variances; Working with a small finance team to optimise profit making opportunities; and Ad hoc projects as they arise.
Skills & Experience The ideal candidate will be a CPA / CA / CIMA qualified accountant, who can deal with operational people. You will have managed a multi-site business and be familiar with the challenges this brings. Experience of the hotel sector will be an advantage.
