Area Mechanical Engineer Permanent, Monday to Friday role with some flexibility with your hours On the job training and continual development Life friendly, coastal location – Gladstone About the role We are looking for an Area Mechanical Engineer to provide engineering support to the Site Services team at our Yarwun refinery which covers a wharf facility with 3 large unloaders / loaders, overland conveyors, overland piping systems and a large residue dam. This role is a great opportunity for a developing Mechanical Engineer to continue building your experience in a global mining organisation. Reporting to the Reliability Engineer Site Services, you will be: Managing the condition of equipment in the site services area and ensuring the equipment is compliant.
Providing engineering advice to the operations and maintenance teams. Identifying and leading plant projects. About you To be successfully considered for this role, you will have: Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering with some experience as an Engineer.
An understanding of the heavy industry, an interest in continual development and ability to learn the computerised maintenance management system.
