Employment Type : Permanent Full Time Position Classification : Health Mgr Lvl 5 Remuneration : $146,469 - $164,227 Hours Per Week : 40 Requisition ID : REQ67121 Applications Close: Thursday 27th September 2018 What you'll be doing The Director, Assets, Infrastructure, Engineering & Maintenance Services leads, directs and manages a significant portfolio of (non-Health Infrastructure) capital works and facilities management services, and supports the delivery of major capital projects run by Health Infrastructure. The position will implement appropriate project management frameworks, tools and governance systems to improve the consistency and effectiveness of the LHD's infrastructure project delivery capability and project outcomes, and develop strategies and processes for the efficient and effective planning and provision of engineering and maintenance services. Relevant qualification and extensive proven experience in the management of assets, infrastructure, engineering and maintenance services within large, complex organisations. Proven success in development and implementation of preventive maintenance strategies and plans.
Demonstrated success in providing strong leadership at a senior level. Demonstrated capability to drive organisational change in service practices whilst improving focus on customer service to achieve required service outcomes. Thorough knowledge and understanding of relevant legislative provisions and regulations.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, consultation and negotiation skills, and proven experience working with a range of stakeholders and competing demands.
