APS6 Project Officer (Culture Development)
We are currently seeking an APS6 Project Officer (Culture Development) to join the team within a Federal Government Agency based in Geelong. The Role The Organisational Health & Culture team work together to develop and support the implementation of organisational and strategic frameworks, including the provision of subject matter expertise on organisational design strategy, culture and engagement, with a focus on strategic human resource management approaches and related strategic communications. This position will lead a portfolio of work that relates to celebration and recognition, and building a culture of appreciation that is aligned with the new Agency value set and brand.
Responsibilities This role will involve providing a high level of instructional design capability in the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of our organisational people strategy platform. Instructional design capability will be demonstrated through recommendations and solutions covering a wide area of organisational people strategy activities including the development of policy content, implementation of endorsed products and developing evidence based reporting. In addition, duties will include - Developing and monitoring accessible products that meet WCAG 2.
0 AA standard. Project managing the development and ongoing maintenance of People Strategy programs. Undertake procurement of programs as required.
Share information and develop team member's skills where possible, under direction from Assistant Directors. Provide expert advice, assistance and support to the Assistant Directors and Director, Organisational Strategy Represent the Agency at professional forums where required. About You Skill in strategic human resource management with experience across HR functions Possess high level written and interpersonal communication skills Experience in developing innovative policy and strategy or have project/ programme management experience Ability to understand, analyse and interpret legislation, policies, strategies and guidelines to determine the appropriate course of action to meet changing stakeholder needs Possess good judgement and analytical skills As this role is within the Federal Government, applicants are required to hold Australian Citizenship to be considered.
