In the role of Senior Advisor (Government and Stakeholder Relations) you will be responsible for helping lead the daily operations of TransLink Division’s Government and Stakeholder Relations Unit, which manages a large volume of executive, ministerial, and customer communication, correspondence, and enquiries in a professional and efficient manner.  You will also be responsible for providing high-level project and operational advice, ensuring all written and verbal communication issued on behalf of the organisation and minister is delivered to a high standard, ensuring a high level of customer and stakeholder satisfaction is maintained, and that stakeholder concerns and ministerial enquiries are efficiently and effectively resolved.  Job details Position status Temporary Position type Flexible full-time Occupational group Marketing, PR & Communication Classification AO6 Workplace Location Brisbane Inner City Job ad reference QLD/288217/18 Closing date 25-Sep-2018 Yearly salary $97138 - $103931 Fortnightly salary $3723.

30 - $3983.70 Job duration Four months with possible extension Contact person Natalie Newell Contact details PH no: (07) 3338 4267 Accountabilities include: • Work as part of a small team to provide advice and support to the Deputy Director-General (TransLink) Director (Government and Media Relations) and Manager (Government and Stakeholder Relations) on issues relating to the delivery of passenger transport programs and policies in Queensland. • Effectively manage, through coordination, preparation and critical review, a large range of briefing materials including Ministerial and Director-General briefing notes, executive and Ministerial correspondence, Parliamentary materials, and responses to Departmental Liaison Officer (DLO) requests.

• Establish and maintain effective professional relationships with internal stakeholders, the Minister's Office, the department, and external agencies to assist with the management and coordination of correspondence and other communication material. • Assist in the coordination of the division's engagement activities to help build and maintain strong relationships with key government, industry and community stakeholders and gain support for TMR's strategic priorities. • Provide strategic advice and expertise on government risk assessment, issues management and executive correspondence to improve relationships with key stakeholders and the community.

• Provide high-level support to ensure daily Government and Stakeholder Relations tasks are successfully completed to requirements and within specified timeframes. • Act as the escalation point for Government and Stakeholder Relations team members, to provide advice, assist in meeting deadlines, and identify reputational risks and opportunities on an as needs basis. • Provide regular advice to the Manager Government and Stakeholder Relations  on performance against targets and manage res.
