Human Resource Business Partner
This is your chance to work within a Federal Government Agency based in the heart of the CBD. This is a contract role till 30 June 2019 and is available to start ASAP. Reporting to the Director, People & Capability, you will be responsible for providing HRBP support across the business.
This will include liaising and supporting internal stakeholders with advice and coaching in relation to HR matters as well as implementation of organisational processes such as annual performance/remuneration reviews, organisational restructures and/or role changes in alignment with work programme delivery. Working in an agile environment you will be able exercise a degree of independence providing the following functions including: Providing support and guidance to business leaders, supervisors and employees across a range of HR matters including performance management, recruitment, employment conditions, workplace behaviour, WHS and employee development Draft reports, briefing papers and discussion papers. Manage the provision of a range of HR services including consultancy across the Agency to resolve issues and promote effective working relationships.
Provide HR and workforce analysis and reporting. Management of sensitive human resources situations using key influencing skills Working collegiately with senior team members to actively promote People and Capability policy reforms and best practice to support the cultural values of the Agency. Lead the WHS work within the Agency including policy development About You To be successful in this role you will bring: HR qualifications and or other appropriate qualifications and experience Sound understanding of HR including core legislation, Awards, APS conditions of employment and Fair Work Experience in a wide range of HR areas such as planning, ER, WHS and organisational culture.
Experience working with teams and programmes during times of significant change in support of organisational transition or equivalent activities. High level of communication including the ability to foster and maintain positive relationships across the business Ideally, this role will suit those who have a proven HRBP background coupled with experience in driving best practice HR outcomes within a diverse organisation. As a strong communicator you will have experience supporting the business with your HR knowledge whilst being able to assist with implementing strategies, policies and frameworks to underpin overall business objectives and goals.
