SVHM is one of Australia's leading Catholic not-for-profit healthcare providers About Department The Health Independence Programs (HIP) consists of multidisciplinary outpatient rehabilitation programs, complex care services and specialist clinics operating across various campuses of St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne.
The Community Rehabilitation programs currently consist of the Community Rehabilitation Centres at Kew and Northcote and the Rehabilitation in the Home team. The programs offer a supportive and dynamic team environment which focusses on patient-centred care. About the Role An exciting opportunity currently exists for a Grade 2 physiotherapist to join the health independence programs team.
The Grade 2 physiotherapist will deliver high quality person-centred, goal-orientated and home and centre-based care within a supportive multidisciplinary team. The position will be utilised for backfill and possibly project work. Duties Delivery of accountable client focussed, high quality physiotherapy services to all clients within your caseload Communicate client issues effectively with other team members, with active contribution to multidisciplinary team meetings Evaluate client treatment plans using appropriate methods Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team Develop, evaluate and adapt group programs as required Skills and Experience Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Minimum of 4 years post-graduate experience in a relevant field of rehabilitation A demonstrated knowledge and application of therapy practice and principles in the area of Rehabilitation Current Victorian Driver's Licence Benefits Salary packaging Employee Assistance Program Staff Car Park All appointments are made subject to the candidate providing a current satisfactory National Police Certificate conducted by The Victoria Police.
