About the role Life Without Barriers has been selected by the Victorian Government to operate a number of Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Short Term Accommodation and Assistance Programs (STAA) currently managed by the Department of Family and Community Services.
To make the transfer of the services to Life Without Barriers as smooth as possible for the clients, staff and families involved, a number of positions are now available in this exciting project. These positions include a Project Manager based in our Newcastle Head Office or Inner East Melbourne. Due to the growth, we are currently finalising a new office in Inner East Melbourne with the exact location to be confirmed.
Key Responsibilities Manage the development, planning, execution and delivery of projects within the Corporate Support team utilising project management systems, tools and change management frameworks Identify program/project/business risks and develop mitigation strategies Prepare accurate executive level program/project status reports Work with Stream Leads, Project Managers and workstream staff tasks to capture updates on milestone progress, resolution of issues, treatment of risks and updates generally. Update relevant systems to reflect the information captured above Maintain Whereabouts Register and organise meetings as required Capture actions from meeting, issue minutes, and follow-up on actions Provide support to the Superstream Leader Skills & Experience Tertiary qualifications in business, information technology, project management or similar areas End to end project management experience in a high demand environment with multiple key stakeholders and priorities Ability to demonstrate successful establishment of new business capabilities and achieving tangible business benefits and outcomes Proven ability to successfully deliver multiple positive project outcomes The ability to influence and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
