Change and Communications Manager
About the company: Our client a Government Agency is offering an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to lead and support change activities and the implementation of the communication strategy that will empower people and to achieve their potential within their communities. About the role The primary purpose of this role is to support a change team in a range of change management activities and to develop and deliver communications strategy to support delivery of key projects. Key responsibilities include: Manage change related activities and risks across four projects that cover IT, compliance and regulation change.
Developed and implemented the overall communications strategy Develops communication materials (presentations and/or speeches geared toward employees). Drive advocacy and customer-centricity, increase engagement and build awareness Develop and maintains regular status reporting as it relates to the change program/initiative including budgets, progress, risks and resourcing. Work in partnership with internal and external bodies to develop effective engagement strategies, improve processes and drive improved results Identify key and often complex issues that affect the business and provide strategic communications advice and solutions to senior executives.
Ideal candidate Tertiary qualified, you possess a minimum of 7 - 10 years' internal change communications programs Change Management qualification Knowledge of communication methodologies and disciplines, internal communication channels and mechanisms Passion to learn - being part of the HR Reform team provides 'on-job experience on large, complex people reforms Sound judgement with proven ability to build rapport and gain acceptance at all levels, and in all business. Demonstrate strategic thinking connecting to enterprise, develop consistent branding, and specialist communications Has developed strategies for managing and negotiating positive outcomes where complex stakeholder, particularly community, engagement matters exist.
