The Role: An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Lawyer to join the practice and head up its thriving Workplace Relations group as Special Counsel / Principal .
This role will primarily see you providing WR consulting and membership services to company members, and workplace legal services to a diverse clientele. You will also be involved in the development and delivery of WR training, seminars and events, plus membership retention and development activities. About You: To be successful in this role, you will be a confident senior Lawyer with a minimum 8 years PQE focused in Employment/Workplace Relations and possess strong working knowledge of WR legislative framework, including employment law , industrial relations and EEO law .
Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills are essential, as are solid drafting skills and attention to detail. You will demonstrate effective leadership skills, advocacy and negotiation skills, and be a self-motivated, autonomous worker. A current driver’s license is required for this position, as is relevant experience in the WR or HR space.
