eMR Application Manager - Clinical

Successful candidates will be working with an enthusiastic and highly skilled team who are developing a fully electronic Paediatric Clinical Documentation record, extending patient centred solutions across multiple care settings and facilities. This role will assist with a range of PowerChart framework and Clinical Documentation solution development and will contribute to the integration of the SCHN eMR as a whole.
What you'll be doing The eMR Unit exists within the Directorate of Clinical Integration within The Sydney Children’s Hospital Network (SCHN). The Unit provides expert knowledge and support to users of clinical applications including Patient Management, Scheduling, Profile PowerChart, Clinical Documentation, FirstNet, SurgiNet, Electronic Medication Management (eMM), Oncology, and PathNet. The eMR Application Manager – Clinical is a key member of the eMR Unit.
The position will assist with the progressive integration and development of the Network eMR, focussed on Clinical Application solutions. The key responsibilities of the eMR Clinical Applications team includes but not limited to: Provide expert knowledge and support to stakeholders of eMR Clinical Application solutions Development of the Clinical Application solutions Ongoing level 2 support management and maintenance of SCHN Clinical Application solutions Enhancements, upgrade, optimisation and development of eMR Clinical Application solutions Clinical Application testing Whilst this role is Monday to Friday, during downtimes or upgrades some afterhours or weekend support may be required which occur several times per year. This position can be based either at Westmead or Randwick campuses, however there is a requirement to work from the alternate campus and other SCHN facilities from time to time.
