About the role Mater Enterprise Project Management (EPMO) office has a wonderful opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join the team for our LMS Replacement Project. This will be offered in a full time and fixed term opportunity until October 2019 and you will be based at our South Brisbane campus. This role will manage the project implementation of a replacement for the Mater’s current Learning Management System (LMS) impacting the whole organisation and external Mater Education customers. The main focus of this role is to coordinate the work required to ensure successful delivery of the project. This will include collaborating closely with senior leaders and business representatives to deliver on the intent of the project, leading the various work streams and managing their ongoing delivery.

The role will be accountable to the LMS Replacement Project Steering Committee. To do this successfully will require engaging and negotiating with key stakeholders, developing project delivery plans, building and monitoring benefits management plans, driving user uptake, reporting on progress and actively mitigating areas of low performance. Salary range: Commensurate with experience What you’ll be doing Overall responsibility for managing the successful delivery of all components required to deliver the Project scope of work Coordinate the delivery across Mater Group addressing challenges associated with specific components as well as addressing specific/tailored needs and requirements Design and develop components of the work to be delivered, including but not limited to communications and promotional material, impact assessments and mitigation strategies Drive a fit for purpose change management strategy using a structured methodology and leadership of change management activities working closely with the Enterprise Change Manager.

Provide advice to the Steering Committee on all aspects of the project. Manage and monitor the project using the EPMO’s methodologies, processes and approaches that identify and capture risks, issues, actions and dependencies. Prepare regular progress reports and supporting documents as required for the Steering Committee and EPMO.

Promote the project goals, manage communications and quickly establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Manage escalated risks in collaboration with the project sponsors to within agreed tolerances, escalate and report any Project risks in a timely manner.
