Electrical & Electronics Systems Engineer
POSITION DESCRIPTION: 1. Develop system architecture required to support all vehicle electrical and electronic system content. 2.
Support electrical and electronic sourcing and support D&R engineers to develop and validate appropriate components. 3. Deliver targets & commitments in support of GPDS program timing and disciplines.
4. Feature / Function Sign Off. 5.
Vehicle launch support - this will involve travel to manufacturing plants in other countries for periods of up to 1 year. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Design management of Electrical / Electronic System architecture.
2. Feature / Function implementation and coordination. 3.
Technical leadership of assigned Electrical / Electronic systems. 4. Technical support for EOL configuration and diagnosis electrical and electronic systems.
SKILLS REQUIRED: 1. Highly developed interpersonal skills. 2.
Ability to work with a cross functional / cross culture team. 3. Willingness to travel to manufacturing facilities and lead activities in plant.
4. Well developed computing skills - Development tools such as CANALYZER, CANOE and DET. 5.
Detailed understanding of GPDS processes and tools. 6. Strong team leadership skills with firm focus on driving for results.
