About the role: Our Road Service Patrols provide timely, professional and courteous assistance to Members and Commercial customers who experience the inconvenience of an unexpected vehicle breakdown.
This role will suit individuals who enjoy providing exceptional customer service and have good diagnostic abilities to help our members get back on the road. Responsibilities: • Carrying out safe roadside repairs and diagnosis using your extensive automotive knowledge and skills • Effectively utilising the battery testing equipment and SOPs to aid battery fault diagnosis and communication of the results and implications, including sale of batteries • Coordinate alternative arrangements if roadside repairs are not possible to minimise the disruption for the Member/Commercial • Delivering professional and courteous assistance to Members and Commercial customers who experience breakdowns • Complying with all relevant WHS legislation, policies and procedures What you need: • Qualifications as an Automotive Mechanic or Automotive Electrician (Certificate III as a minimum) • Knowledge of vehicle operation, components and current-day diagnostic practices • Experience working on a variety of makes and models of vehicles • Ability to communicate effectively with a strong customer service focus • An ability to undertake rotating shift work, including weekends and public holidays • Current drivers licence is essential What we offer: • Free RAA Premium Road Service & Home Security Monitoring • Discounts on all RAA Products and Services • Flexible Work Arrangements • Ongoing Training & Development Opportunities & Study Support Program • Onsite Massage, Wellbeing Facilities and Corporate Health Insurance Plan • Annual Bonus Incentive • On-site Café How to apply: Follow the prompts to submit both a cover letter and resume by 9am Friday 28 September 2018.
