Senior Executive Assistant
Senior Executive Assistant needed to support CEO within gov, $45-50 per hour, Sydney CBD, 3 months contract. Your new company This governments agencies main functions include development of national curriculum, administration of national assessments and associated reporting on schooling in Australia. Their strategic directions are set by its Charter and any other written instructions from the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) Education Council.
In accordance with its Charter they submits its rolling quadrennial work plan annually to the Education Council for endorsement. Your new role The core accountabilities of this position include: Providing quality administrative and executive support to the CEO and executive including, reviewing documents for the CEO's approval, managing responses to confidential correspondence, preparing presentations, reports, agendas and minutes/action items, diary and meeting management and managing stakeholder enquiries Screening a broad range of confidential and sensitive enquiries and telephone requests, assessing information for referral to the CEO or to other staff, relaying critical information to appropriate staff and ensuring any relevant follow up action completed. Researching and investigating issues and preparing correspondence as required Cultivate and maintain positive and professional relationships with organisations and individuals at all levels within the public and private sectors on a range of organisational matters What you'll need to succeed You will have demonstrated experience supporting at C-suite or senior managerial level in a large organisation, as well as excellent organisation and have superior time-management skills.
In addition to this you will have the ability to support the Chief Executive's time with the ability to understand and anticipate his needs. You will be proactive and forward thinking, efficient and discreet with a high attention to detail and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Having a flexible approach and willingness to contribute positively to the broader Office of the Chief Executive team is essential.
