Working with apprentices from local businesses as well as International students you can practice your trade without being on site and on the tools.
We will teach you to train If you have Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment that is fantastic but if you are a first time trainer we can support you to become qualified. All you need is the right approach To match your quality trade skills and knowledge you need a positive attitude, an open and calm manner, and the ability to demonstrate and communicate what it takes to be a great tradie. Due to ongoing growth in student numbers, we are seeking to recruit Trainers and Assessors for our building and construction RTO based in Salisbury, Queensland. In this role you will need to: Plan and prepare session plans and resources in readiness for training delivery Deliver training and conduct assessments for assigned client groups Provide an engaging, supportive and learner-focused learning environment Make considered assessment judgements on the skills and knowledge of learners and determine their competence Provide accurate training records for assigned course participants Provide support, encouragement and compassion to course participants as necessary To be successful in the role you will need: Demonstrated knowledge of theoretical and practical foundations in your trade Demonstrated ability to motivate and mentor learners Demonstrated experience working with culturally diverse clients Current industry experience Passion for sharing your industry experience with international students Computer literacy, particularly MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to accurately complete required documentation in accordance with detailed time frames A current National Police Clearance, or ability to obtain one A current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain one We are looking for people who hold one or more of the following qualifications: Certificate III in Carpentry Certificate III in Bricklaying / Blocklaying Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) Advanced Diploma of Building and Construction (Management) If you are interested in this role, and interested in committing to developing your training skills please submit a resume and a cover letter outlining your: building qualifications building experience We look forward to hearing from you.
