The Role: In this unique role of Business Manager, you will be working exclusively within the delegations set out by the Board in supporting, positioning and leading the Association to ensure effective delivery of programs, services and outcomes to Refugee survivors of torture and trauma.
Ideally we are seeking someone who is business driven with a drive to succeed and meet financial and organisational targets. Key responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership and direction Ensure effective organisational governance including risk management Manage, supervise and develop staff and impement staff retention strategies Develop, implement and monitor financial and non-financial KPI's throughout the organisation Build, develop and maintain partnerships wtih external stakeholders at local, national and international levels Identify opportunities for project enhancement and provide effective management for projects on a national scale Promote a culture that identifies needs for research, innovation and evaluations ititiatives SELECTION CRITERIA Essential: Current valid driver's license Current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check Proven ability to work unrestricted in Australia Considerable experience at a Chief Executive, General Manager level or significant experience at a senior management level within the health or human services sector Demonstrated capacity to lead organisational change and development Proven ability to provide a high standard of strategic and operational planning and to deliver on expected KPI's Highly developed business, financial and contract management skills Evidence of building and developing an organisational culture that supports and develops staff with a focus on staff retention within a multiculteral workforce Demonstrated experience in effectively working with and reporting to a board Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to build effective relationships with a range of local, national and international stakeholders Desirable: Tertiary qualification in a business-related dicipline Knowledge of issues facing refugee survivors or torture and trauma Incentives: Located in Perth city with occasional travel to other locations Full time, 38 hours per week 12 month initial contract with the possibility of extention Access to Salary Packaging Healthy lifestyle programme offered with flexible working conditions If you think you have the capabilities to fulfill this role in assisting those who have been affected by torture and trauma, submit your resume and a cover letter addressing the selection criteria as soon as possible to Charliechoiceone.com.
