The Opportunity A great opportunity to join an established name in the AV industry, with an opening for an experienced and accomplished technical support professional who has the aptitude to rapidly excel in a hands-on trouble-shooting role with client facing responsibilities. As an AV Concierge, you will be based permanently on a client site (prestigious corporate offices).
Duties Hands on support and trouble-shooting of integrated systems of audio visual, video conferencing and collaboration technologies Operate, maintain and perform on-going service of professional AV systems Liaise with clients to understand any operational issues with existing systems, their required outcomes and deliver an appropriate solution within the allocated time Develop into the leading technical expert in the client systems Join an established technical team, including AV technicians, engineers and Programmers Your Skills Qualities & Experience You will be an accomplished Audio Visual Support professional with a strong track record of delivering timely and effective technical support to commercial clients. You will be well presented and work hard to deliver service and support to exceed client expectations. You will have a passion for technology and problem solving and be able to support and trouble-shoot networked system components from several different manufacturers, drawing upon your knowledge of the latest products within the AV, VC and collaboration industries.
As well as your technical knowledge, your understanding of commercial factors in terms of client outcomes and corporate applications for the technologies is essential. You will have strong written and spoken communication skills with the ability to liaise with non-technical clients, senior executives and professionals from other disciplines. A background in IT support and/or network support would be an advantage, along with the polished professionalism of a client facing support role.
