About the Team The Capability, Culture and Change team work strategically within the Organisational Development, Strategy and Planning business area - incorporating Internal Communications, Diversity and Inclusion, Innovation and Business Improvement, and Corporate Planning, Strategy and Governance. With Victoria’s constantly changing environment, the team work adaptively to lead capability development, culture and leadership initiatives, and organisation-wide change management to enhance the VicRoads performance culture of Care Share Dare. About the Role Reporting to the Manager Capability, Culture and Change, within the broader People, Culture and Strategy division, the Organisational Capability Consultant will bring professional judgement, emotional intelligence and specialist skills in the consultation, coaching, planning, delivery and evaluation of capability development, performance management, and learning and development activities to enable VicRoads people to perform at their best.
The role will provide leadership to the Organisational Development and Learning Officer, and work as part of a team of passionate and enthusiastic professionals working collaboratively across the organisation to enable the achievement of community outcomes. About the Ideal Candidate You are resourceful and open minded. You will bring your previous knowledge and experience in supporting organisations to identify the technical and professional capability development requirements and support annual review cycles.
You will impress others by your strong internal and external relationship management and interpersonal skills that you have leveraged to communicate and influence effectively. You really listen to people and work collaboratively across the organisation to build capability and a constructive culture that meets the organisations key deliverables. You use facilitation, creativity and problem-solving skills to plan, deliver, monitor and evaluate capability development and learning and development initiatives that have maximum buy in and ensure you are always looking at ways to continuously improve.
