We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Melbourne EpiCentre team. About Us: The Melbourne EpiCentre is a collaborative research centre of the University of Melbourne and Melbourne Health located at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. It is an academic centre of excellence with research, education, health care quality and safety, and organisation-improvement agenda.
The goal of the centre is to promote and run high quality clinical, non-clinical and biostatistical methodological studies, both locally and internationally. About the role: An exciting new long-term opportunity exists for a Health Service Researcher to join the Melbourne Epicentre. This role creates immense opportunities for an aspiring Health Service Researcher with strong background in clinical / hospital database development / management, apart from analytical skills.
The recent commissioning of electronic medical records in Royal Melbourne Hospital creates exciting opportunities to engage in clinical and health services research. This position offers opportunity to develop a research career in clinical studies or health services research with a well-established research and support Centre with national and international reputation in clinical epidemiological studies. The Health Service Researcher will have the opportunity to work in collaboration with clinical researchers and basic scientists within the institution, as well as being apart of national and international research projects led by Professor Sanjoy Paul, the Director of the Melbourne EpiCentre.
The successful applicant will be involved in clinical and health service research related database development / management, quality control, validation and basic reporting.
