This Oil and Gas Engineering Consultancy deliver smart, reliable and safe solutions through our deep industry knowledge and interconnected infrastructure. The Infrastructure Construction Procurement Function is responsible for providing procurement services to the Infrastructure Construction business units. More specifically, this Function is accountable for: Procurement procedures, systems, tools and processes for the Infrastructure Construction business units nationally as appropriate Procurement sourcing, negotiating and contracting of direct categories for the Infrastructure Construction business units.

Contractual and supplier relationship management support of direct category preferred vendor management for the Infrastructure Construction business units. Support of the development and deployment of Procurement policy and procedures Technical Competencies / Proficiencies Tertiary qualifications in procurement, business, commerce or engineering 10 years business experience, with 5 years procurement experience, preferably in a similar industry or environment. Procurement of direct services and goods for major construction projects and /or engineering works.

Support the provision of Procurement thought leadership and insights to the Infrastructure Development Division Source, negotiate and contract procurement terms and conditions ensuring optimum benefits and effect management of risk Support of the supply chains and use of the ORACLE System for the Infrastructure Construction business units both strategically and operationally. Ability to think strategically, produce innovative ideas and influence business direction. Track record of delivering results, using commercial acumen to effectively influence the business strategy.

Good level of business, contractual and financial literacy. Experience of participation in complex multi-party projects with technical development. Ability to convert strategy into action and to achieve targeted outcomes.

Ability to effectively communicate with, persuade and influence others. Effective external stakeholder management skills. Upon selection, the successful candidate will be highly engaged across on a variety of challenging projects.
