Payroll & Revenue Officer
Full time Permanent position Onsite parking Permanent, full time position working for a Sports Club close to Footscray. Your new company This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced payroll and revenue officer to join a large Sports Club located in the Western suburbs. Your new role In this exciting standalone role, you will be responsible for preparing the payroll and revenue recording.
This will include the following tasks: Payroll Function Preparation of 5 payrolls for submission to an external body, including preparation of bonuses, termination payments, redundancies and adjustment pays Preparation and reconciliation of PAYW tax obligations and monthly payroll tax returns for payment by due dates Answer enquiries regarding payroll and salary packaging in accordance with the organisation’s policy Provide advice in relation to pay rates, allowances, overtime and other entitlements Advise on compliance obligations for relevant awards Update and maintain accurate and confidential payroll records Preparation and reconciliation of monthly payroll and leave reports Revenue Function Preparation of all debtor invoices for all of the organisation’s entities Preparation, reconciliation and issue of monthly debtor statements Recording daily sales from source documentation, including reconciliation of merchandise sales transactions to daily banking Preparation of the month end debtor reports & weekly debtor reports Preparation of membership revenue reports Preparation and lodgement of daily banking Reconciliation and processing of credit card transactions (revenue) Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure zero lost revenue Maintain appropriate invoicing schedules for sponsorship What you'll need to succeed The successful candidate will possess: 5 years’ experience with full function payroll Experience with and an interest in revenue recording Knowledge across multiple awards Experience with medium sized accounting systems (Microsoft Great Plains preferred but not essential) Advanced Excel and MS Office skills A proactive and outgoing personality Excellent time management skills What you'll get in return In return for your dedication and hard work, you will receive a competitive salary and work within a renowned Sports Club with a great culture.
