About the Role: The Business Intelligence and Data Analytics (BIDA) Function is accountable for planning and implementing the overall BIDA Strategy across Western Power. This position is responsible for producing valuable business intelligence through data analysis and use of predictive models for strategic and operational purposes. Working as part of a team the role is responsible for providing data analytical specialisation to multidisciplinary projects.
About you: Solid experience of at least 5 years in analytics (including technical and professional knowledge of research methodologies) Experience in dealing with large volumes of data and working with a team to build data into intelligence. Project management and ability to manage competing priorities Verbal and written communication skills and ability to collate information from various sources to produce clear and concise message. Results oriented with proven experience in partnering with customers and stakeholders.
Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with SAS Enterprise Guide Must possess a degree qualification in an analytical or quantitative discipline (e.g. Management/ Financial Accounting, Social Research, Statistics) What’s on Offer? At Western Power, our people are our strength.
