The Organisation Our customer is a National not for profit organisation providing services to people with a disability, young people and children living in Out Of Home Care, their families and the community. The Role On behalf of our customer we are seeking a Clinician to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity to secure a role that will benefit from your clinical expertise within the disability sector, whilst providing autonomy and flexibility in working hours. There are two positions available; one part time and one full time 6 month contract. Both roles will engage with clients in the greater Riverina region west of Sydney with an office location at Wagga Wagga.
Due to the remote nature of the work, this role can largely be undertaken from home with arrangements made to remain connected with your team either in person or electronically. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, implement and evaluate the implementation of multi-element behavioural interventions for people living with a disability Engage with clients accessing NDIS service delivery to determine eligibility and develop individualised assessments and planning Provide clinical services that include behaviour support and management of therapeutic interventions, relevant to client and their family’s needs Service provision that is based on quality assessment and evidence based practice standards, ensuring effective outcomes and achieved Develop and implement effective clinical intervention and therapeutic treatments models utilising current research and evidence within the context of current regulatory frameworks Engage with interagency and external service relationships that promote positive outcomes Complete detailed reporting adhering to the NDIS reporting framework To Be Successful Tertiary Degree qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Occupational Therapy or similar with evidence of current registration with an appropriate registration board essential Demonstrated knowledge of the issues, trends and evidence based principals underpinning the provision of services to vulnerable persons Demonstrated experience providing evidence based services for people living with a disability, mental illness, live in Out Of Home Care and/or offenders with a dual diagnosis and who have significant complex support needs Demonstrated experience completing assessments and consultation of therapeutic interventions for a broad range of vulnerable persons Evidence of developing person centred behavioural support plans including risk strategies and skills development planning Current Working With Children’s Check and Working with persons with a Disability Notice Card or ability to obtain Current NSW Driver licence Salary and Benefits S....
